Hello Everyone,
❤️ Day 5: Beets
🍁 Meet Your Veggie
Beets are one of autumn’s most beautiful vegetables. Their earthy sweetness pairs especially well with bright, acidic flavors like lemon, vinegar, and citrus.
And don’t be afraid of their vibrant color—pink fingers are part of the beet adventure!
❤️ Why Explore Beets?
Beets provide folate, manganese, potassium, and fiber, and they are naturally rich in nitrate compounds. Dietary nitrates from vegetables are converted through pathways involved in normal blood-vessel function and blood flow.
